Amy Emerson practices in the areas of litigation, employment, and water law. As a member of the Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group, she assists clients in avoiding disputes through pre-litigation counseling and in resolving disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and trial in both state and federal courts. As a member of the Labor and Employment Law Practice Group, Amy assists clients by reviewing employment policies and practices for legal compliance. Amy is also a member of the Water Practice Group and assists clients with matters related to water supply and quality. Originally from Christoval, Texas, Amy has called Austin home for the past ten years.

- Complex and residential construction defect disputes, including disputes arising from waste water treatment plant construction, pipeline failures, and improper drainage.
- Assisted in successful jury trial to defense verdict in wrongful termination case.
- Representing governmental entities and private enterprises in Fair Housing Act litigation.
- Landlord tenant disputes, including claims related to harassment and retaliation.
