As a member of the Energy and Utility Practice Group, Jack’s practice focuses on administrative law in the area of public utility regulation.  He assists municipalities and utilities in matters before the Public Utility Commission of Texas, Railroad Commission of Texas, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, and the State Office of Administrative Hearings.

Jack received his B.A. in Economics and a Minor in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  During law school, he was a member of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal.  Prior to joining the Firm, Jack gained experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate tax, partnership tax, affordable housing, and tax planning.

Jack was born in Houston, Texas, but he spent most of his childhood in Memphis, Tennessee.  He is now excited to call Austin home.  Jack enjoys playing tennis and pickleball, cooking, exploring Austin’s food and live music scenes, and spending time with friends.  He is also an avid sports fan and during college basketball season can be found cheering on his North Carolina Tar Heels.
