As a member of the Water, Districts, and Litigation Practice Groups, Andres focuses on water-related legal and policy issues, including statutory and regulatory compliance, permitting, water rights, water resource management and development, contested cases, litigation and administrative proceedings, governmental relations, and open government. He also provides counsel in the governance, organization, and operation of local government entities.

During law school, Andres served as an Associate Recent Developments Editor for the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law and worked as a Research Assistant to Professor Owen Anderson. He also worked as a Law Clerk for Lloyd Gosselink following his first year of law school.

Andres enjoys paddle boarding on Lady Bird Lake, listening to live music, and trying out new foods. He has international experience, having participated in a study abroad program in Japan where he interacted with small and large businesses and prepared a "Shark Tank" presentation for a new product.
