Toni M. Rask is a member of the Firm's Water Practice Group and, as such, her practice involves working in environmental matters at all levels of government. As a member of the Water Practice Group, Toni assists clients with all matters relating to water—water rights, permitting, regulatory compliance, water quality matters, resource development, enforcement, and litigation. With a background in public service, Toni particularly interested in assisting local governments and political subdivisions in these matters.

Originally hailing from Minnesota, Toni developed an early appreciation for the critical importance of water resources, a passion that has profoundly influenced her professional journey. During law school, Toni demonstrated leadership and dedication to the field by serving as president of the Energy & Environmental Law Society as well as interning for the Environmental Protection Agency in Dallas.

Toni was born and raised in a small town on the Mississippi River in Minnesota—she still roots for her hometown team, the Minnesota Twins. She attended American University in Washington, DC for her undergraduate studies where she also worked for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Prior to law school at the University of Houston, Toni lived in South Korea for four years teaching English to elementary school students. When not practicing law, you can find Toni playing board games with friends or engaging in trivia competitions or puzzle hunts. She enjoys collecting patches and enamel pins from all the places she travels and is known to haunt local Thai food restaurants in search of the perfect Khao Soi.
