Gabrielle represents clients in litigation matters in state and federal courts. She provides guidance to clients as they navigate through the steps of the process at both the trial and appellate levels. Gabrielle also has experience in alternative dispute resolution, exploring options through both pre-litigation and litigation routes. She works to determine assessment of risk, potential outcomes, and cost-efficient solutions.

Prior to joining the Firm, Gabrielle represented federal government employees in their discrimination complaints and appeals of adverse personnel actions before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Merit Systems Protection Board. She has also represented Texas public school districts in the areas of employment law, student discipline, and school board governance.

  • Represented both employers and employees in court and administrative matters involving complaints of discrimination and retaliation claims under Title VII, ADA, GINA, Equal Pay Act, ADEA, and USERRA.
  • Reviews, advises on, and drafts contracts including indemnification and release agreements, construction contracts, and complex settlement agreements.
  • Advises on corporate governance matters including amendments to certificates of formation and by-laws, meeting and notice requirements, and corporate structure and status issues.

  • San Jacinto River Auth. v. Ackley, --- S.W.3d ---, 2024 Tex. App. LEXIS 7419 (Tex. App.—Beaumont Oct. 17, 2024) (holding SJRA did not take downstream property when it passed floodwaters through Lake Conroe Dam during Hurricane Harvey).

Gabrielle has lived around the state but enjoys being back in Austin, Texas and practicing where she grew up.  Outside of her law practice, Gabrielle enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and upcycle crafting.
