Our Energy and Utility Practice Group is an acknowledged leader in the practice of rapidly-changing utility and administrative law. Our focused and extensive experience uniquely qualifies us to represent public and private clients in all areas of this dynamic and challenging field.

Our attorneys actively represent and advocate for our clients before the Public Utility Commission, the Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC), the Electrical Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) and at all levels of the State and Federal court systems in a wide variety of matters, including:

  • Representing municipal governments and private utility companies concerning retail utility service areas and wholesale utility rates, contracts, and services
